By just making it to the finals Serena becomes the highest earning female athlete in history with an amazing $21,989,507. A day earlier, along with her sister Venus, Serena claimed her 12th career doubles title as well. Now that Serena has won the Australian she joins the much vaunted "double digit" Grand Slam club along with four others.
In my opinion one of the loveliest women to ever play the sport. Keep your Maria Sharapova, I'll take Serena any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I am a little surprised at how short her legs are. I guess I think of tennis players as being tall. She is gorgeous regardless.
I think it's because of how muscular she is. She's 6' and he sister Venus is 6'2".
Oh. I did not realize they were that tall. Geez! She is definitely a tank. I'd hate to arm wrestle her :-D
